Every league night, hundreds of players come through the doors of the Beach Hangar looking for great volleyball, great people, and a great experience. As a Hangar Host, you'll be at the heart of it all.
This isn't your typical customer service role. We’re looking for the Host of the party! You'll be the person who keeps league nights running smoothly, welcomes new players and creates an atmosphere where everyone feels like they belong. Whether you're answering questions, celebrating a great rally, or introducing teammates who just met, you'll play a huge part in making The Beach Hangar the best place to play.

What You'll Do
Create an Outstanding Player Experience
- Welcome players and provide exceptional customer service throughout the evening.
- Answer questions and ensure league participants have the information they need.
- Build genuine relationships with players and help foster a welcoming, inclusive community.
Facilitate League Play
- Collect and accurately enter game scores.
- Adjust court and net heights for various leagues throughout the evening.
- Address player concerns, complaints, and disputes professionally and fairly.
- Help ensure league nights stay organized, efficient, and enjoyable for everyone.
Support Facility Operations
- Complete daily reports and communicate important information to management.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock products as needed.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility.
- Assist with set up for various events and programs outside of designated leagues and rentals.
Bartend Responsibly
- Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with Smart Serve guidelines and all applicable regulations.
- Provide friendly, efficient service while maintaining a safe environment for all guests.
Represent the Beach Hangar During Events
- Provide exceptional customer service to Rental and Event Clients
- Set up and tear down the facility to meet various event needs
- Ensure facility is clean and organized at all times during the event
Successful Hangar Hosts are:
- Exceptional communicators who listen well, provide clear information, and handle difficult conversations with professionalism.
- Critical thinkers who can stay calm under pressure, solve problems quickly, and make sound decisions in the moment.
- Natural leaders who can confidently manage a busy facility with up to 200 players while ensuring everyone has a positive experience.
- Highly aware of their surroundings, recognizing what needs attention and stepping in before small issues become bigger ones.
- Outgoing and approachable, genuinely enjoying conversations and building relationships with people from all backgrounds and skill levels.
- Self-starters who take initiative, work independently, and always look for ways to improve the player experience.
Requirements
- Smart Serve Certification (required).
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Passion for customer service, community building, and creating exceptional experiences.
