Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. Candidates should be comfortable with POS systems such as Micros POS, handling cash, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service, upselling menu items, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and work areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with team members to provide seamless guest service experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards within the food industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and processing transactions accurately.

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
