We are currently hiring 1 Class 1 Driver for a dedicated client in the food industry. This is a local, plant-to-plant role with a mix of shunting and short-distance deliveries.
- Pay: Flat rate of $262.50 to $270 per day.
- Shift: Afternoon (Start time between 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM)
- Hours: 6–10 hours per day.
- Work Type: Local, plant transfers, trailer switching, dock-to-dock.
- Equipment: Day cab automatic Volvo.
Responsibilities
- Transport freight between plant locations
- Perform trailer switching and shunting duties
- Complete occasional local deliveries
- Ensure safe and timely operations
- Use Geotab system for tracking and compliance
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (AZ) License
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Verified criminal background check
- Ability to communicate in English or French (bilingual preferred)
