Part-Time Housekeeper / NannyLocation: Yorkville, Toronto
We are looking for a kind, dependable, and proactive part-time housekeeper/nanny to join our family. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children while also helping to keep our home organized and running smoothly.
A strong preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in French or Arabic, as we would love for our child to naturally learn and be exposed to a second language through daily conversation and play. Also a preference given to those able/open to travel.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to our toddler in a safe and engaging environment
- Encourage learning through age appropriate play, reading, crafts, and outdoor activities
- Speak French or Arabic with our child throughout the day to support language development
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for our child
- Assist with light housekeeping related to the home and child, including tidying toys, dishes, laundry, and maintaining an organized space
- Help maintain daily routines, including naps and activities
- Foster a positive, patient, and nurturing environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a nanny, babysitter, or working with young children
- Fluent in French or Arabic (spoken)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset but not required
- Comfortable with light housekeeping
- Passionate about early childhood development and creating meaningful learning experiences
This is a part-time position. We are looking for someone who will become a positive and consistent presence in our child’s life while also helping our home run smoothly.
