Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting steel to various locations while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
This role requires a professional with experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, ensuring smooth operations across all transportation tasks.
Shifts are 6am Monday to Friday with evenings and weekends off.
50-55 hours per week. Overtime available after 44 hours. Above market wages based on experience.
Quarterly bonus plan and benefit package.
Signing bonus total of $700 ($350 after 1st 2 weeks, and $350 after 90 days).
Responsibilities
- Steel flatbed work to safely operate commercial trucks and transport steel to designated locations.
- Ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Conduct routine inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record. At least 25 years old (required) and 1 year of commercial driving experience.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and compliance documentation.
Pay: $21.50-$28.50 per hour
