We're looking for an experienced pizza cook to join our growing team.
We produce naturally fermented sourdough pizzas using certified organic ingredients sourced from local farms whenever possible. Our work includes high-volume wholesale production as well as fresh pizza service at farmers' markets and special events.
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Stretch, top, and cook sourdough pizzas to a consistently high standard
- Produce pizzas for wholesale production in high volumes
- Manage dough with an understanding of fermentation and consistency
- Maintain quality and speed during production and service
- Keep a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Work collaboratively with a small, hardworking team
Requirements
- Previous pizza-making experience is mandatory
- Comfortable stretching dough by hand and working with naturally fermented dough
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Able to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
