Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our manufacturing and office facilities. In this vital role, you will ensure our work environment remains pristine, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards. Your proactive approach will support our team’s productivity and uphold our commitment to a clean, welcoming workspace.
Duties
- Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal throughout the facility
- Maintain floors through buffing and floor care techniques to ensure a safe and polished environment
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, and production areas regularly and thoroughly
- Conduct routine custodial inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs as needed
- Follow proper procedures for industrial cleaning in manufacturing zones to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting issues related to plumbing, electrical, or structural concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within commercial or industrial settings
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on health and safety protocols
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing manual cleaning tasks throughout shifts
