Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Educator to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, possess strong communication skills, and experience working with children, including those with special needs or disabilities. This role involves designing and implementing educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development, ensuring a safe and inclusive space for all children.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Use instructional design principles to create engaging activities that foster learning in areas such as math, writing, and basic literacy.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan classroom activities and share best practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and developmental milestones.
- Utilize LMS (Learning Management Systems) to track student progress and document educational activities.
- Provide tutoring or additional instructional support as needed to reinforce learning concepts.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of LMS platforms and instructional design techniques for early learners.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Background in teaching or tutoring in subjects such as math or writing is advantageous.
