Job Description
Livright Ltd. is seeking a full-time Carpenter to join our team. We specialize in residential construction, renovations, and finishing work. The successful candidate will perform a variety of carpentry tasks across multiple job sites.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other materials
- Perform framing, finishing carpentry, and trim work
- Install doors, windows, flooring, and cabinetry
- Build decks, fences, and other wood structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Follow all workplace safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in carpentry
- Experience with framing and finishing carpentry
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Ability to read basic construction drawings
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing manual labour
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits
- $32.50 per hour
- Vacation pay as per Alberta standards

Pay: $32.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
Location:
- Calgary, AB T3B 3T6 (preferred)
