We are seeking a dedicated and personable Full-Time Cashier and Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. This role is vital in providing exceptional service to our customers, managing transactions efficiently, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences. Multilingual abilities and technical sales experience are a plus, enabling us to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive product presentation
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure cleanliness of the cashier station
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Support team members with additional tasks to ensure smooth store operations
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales procedures
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to upsell products through effective sales techniques
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customers

Pay: $37.20-$39.22 per hour
