Skilled Bartender
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Bartender to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing high quality beverages in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage cash transactions using POS systems like Micros POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and billing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible serving practices.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth service.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
- Uphold all food safety standards and adhere to health regulations related to food service.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant or food industry setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety and food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of serving techniques, hospitality standards, and responsible alcohol service.
- Previous experience with cashiering or cash handling is advantageous.
- Must be personable, reliable, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
