Assist with Design Validation and Verification testing via specification interpretation, execution of in-house testing
- Coordination and management of third-party labs.
- Generation and formatting of test reports.
- Perform third-party laboratory audits.
- Operation and maintenance of laboratory test equipment.
- Participate in root cause analysis for part failures.
- Perform costing exercises on future projects with the quotations department.
- Other relevant tasks as required.
Working towards Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in the Automotive Industry would be an asset
- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Experience with material property testing equipment (Tensile Test Stands, Environmental Chambers, etc.)
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
The Engineering Technician (Co-Op) will work with product design to assist in performing tasks mainly related to customer design verification planning, reporting, preparation and execution of validation testing, and scheduling test timelines. From time to time, they may be tasked with working with the quotations department on costing exercises involving upcoming customer projects. The Co-op duration is one (1) year.
