VDM Trucking Service Ltd. is looking for an experienced Pilot Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves escorting oversized and over-dimensional loads throughout Canada while ensuring the safety of the public, equipment, and our drivers.

Job Responsibilities
- Escort oversized and over-dimensional loads throughout Canada.
- Maintain constant communication with truck drivers using two-way radio.
- Identify and communicate road hazards, low clearances, construction zones, and traffic conditions.
- Ensure compliance with permit requirements and provincial regulations.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the pilot vehicle.
- Maintain accurate trip documentation and daily reports.
- Represent VDM professionally while working with customers and the public.
- Travel for extended periods as required.
Requirements
- Previous pilot truck vehicle experience with oversized loads is required.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
- Be able to travel all around Canada
- Strong knowledge of oversized load regulations and safe escort procedures is an asset.
- Must be willing and able to travel throughout Canada for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnight trips.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

Experience:
- Pilot Truck Driver: 2 years (preferred)
