About the Role
Select Landscaping is looking for a skilled and reliable Landscape Gardener to join our growing team. If you have hands-on experience in garden and landscape maintenance, a solid understanding of horticulture, and a passion for outdoor work, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain residential and commercial landscapes through regular mowing, edging, weeding, and trimming
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees based on landscape designs and seasonal needs
- Prune trees and hedges to encourage healthy growth and shape
- Apply fertilizers, soil amendments, and pest control treatments as needed
- Mulch garden beds, cultivate soil, and remove debris to maintain curb appeal
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening (1+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, including common plant species, pests, and soil care
- Proficiency with landscaping hand tools (shovels, pruners, rakes) and power tools (trimmers, blowers, mowers)
- Physical stamina and comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid G-class driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
