Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and support overall oral health education. Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take digital dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist in identifying oral health issues and communicate findings to the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records using Akitu management software
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during procedures
- Follow all safety protocols, including infection control standards IPAC and OSHA regulations
Requirements
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Hours needed
Current hours required are for Friday's 7:30am-2:00pm. Possibility for fulltime hours.
Pay: $55.00-$61.50 per hour
