Floral Dimensions is a grower/supplier specializing in succulents, cacti and seasonal potted plants supplied to the wholesale and retail markets.
Job description & Duties
- Pick up plants from our greenhouse and other suppliers
- Deliver plants to garden centre(s) in Northern Ontario
- Use the lift gate on the truck, to unload garden centre racks and secure load(s)
- Ability to push and pull heavy garden center racks
- collect empty grower racks from garden centre and jobsites as required
- you would start at our greenhouse picking up the truck and proceed to either pick up product from suppliers or deliver flowers on carts
Responsibilities
- Ensure the general cleanliness and tidiness of the truck
- Performing daily circle checks on your vehicle
- Record inspections, loads and hours in easy-to-learn custom electronic system
Requirements
- A valid D or DZ license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Complete an insurance company driver profile questionnaire to be reviewed and approved by our insurance company
- Previous driving experience considered an asset;
- Must be able to drive Standard trucks
- Perform complete pre-trip inspection, manage the vehicles safely
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
- 12 hour shift or as needed
- Weekends as needed

- Previous delivery driving an asset
