Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant, you’re not just ensuring a continuous supply of clean linens – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- ability to operate washer and dryer equipment
- ability to push and pull up to 75 lbs
- ability to operate a bicycle or a tugger to transport clothes
- Previous cleaning experience; preferably in hotel housekeeping.
- At least six months of customer service experience.
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience.
- Flexible with schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Most importantly a service heart to deliver a high level of service to our guests!
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
· Keep guest rooms spotless: Clean all areas of assigned rooms to the highest quality and cleanliness standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows/tracks
· Keep linens clean and ready: Handle all stages of linen processing, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering clean linens
· Maintain the laundry area: Keep laundry machines and work areas clean and in good working order
· Manage inventory: Monitor and maintain stock levels of linens and laundry supplies
· Delight our guests: Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests related to housekeeping and laundry services
· Refresh linens and amenities: Remove dirty linens, towels, and amenities from rooms and replace with fresh items
· Restock and organize supplies: Ensure the supply cart is fully stocked for efficient service
· Report maintenance needs: Identify and communicate any room maintenance issues to ensure prompt repairs
