Data marts and reporting layers
Hands-on EDW testing experience
Source → Staging → Integration → Presentation layer validation
Full load vs Incremental / Delta load testing
SCD validation expertise
SCD Type 1, Type 2 (history, effective dates, current flag)
Late Arriving Dimensions, Out-of-sequence data
Advanced SQL skills
Complex joins, subqueries, window functions
Data reconciliation & cross-layer balancing
Duplicate, null, referential integrity checks
Testing Capabilities
Data Validation & Reconciliation
Business rule & transformation logic validation
Row count, aggregation, threshold & variance checks
CDC / incremental data testing
Regression & UAT support
Defect analysis, triage, and RCA
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100-115Kdepending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
