Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team at Bizarre Gastro Pub. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting food preparation, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, good attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by kitchen staff
- Support food safety protocols by properly storing ingredients and cleaning work areas regularly
- Help with organizing kitchen supplies and ensuring all items are stored correctly
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with serving duties when needed, including setting up dining areas and delivering food to customers
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by performing various cleaning and prep tasks
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation are advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and kitchen operations
Pay: $15.00 per hour
