Job Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences through excellent customer service, efficient food handling, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
- Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained
- Serve food and beverages promptly while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables or orders during busy periods
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies at all times
- Support team members in various tasks such as setting up dining areas or assisting in kitchen operations when needed
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and resolving any issues promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of POS systems is desirable
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience with food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality background or experience in guest services will be considered an asset
