Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar maintenance role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery, vehicles, or equipment
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Familiarity with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact wrenches
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards
Pay: $17.50-$38.50 per hour
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- Mechanic: 3 years (preferred)
