About the Role
Jaffer Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Hand to join our team servicing a portfolio of commercial and residential properties in the Edmonton and Stony Plain region.
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to support both ongoing property maintenance and project-based work. This is a hybrid role suited for someone who is comfortable handling day-to-day maintenance tasks while also assisting with light construction and finishing work as needed. This position will work closely with our maintenance team and project team to ensure buildings are well-maintained, functional, and finished to a high standard.

Our property division manages a growing mix of:
- Commercial buildings in downtown Edmonton
- Commercial rental units in Stony Plain
- Residential apartment and rental properties across the region
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across multiple properties
- Support building performance and upkeep (routine inspections, minor fixes, preventative work)
- Assist with small plumbing tasks and troubleshooting
- Assist with minor electrical work and troubleshooting
- Complete general repairs including minor appliance repair, drywall patching, painting, and finishing touch-ups
- Support project work including light framing, drywall, and general labor tasks
- Maintain clean and organized work areas on both maintenance and project sites
- Respond to maintenance requests and assist with occasional on-call needs
What We’re Looking For
- Working knowledge of general maintenance, repairs, and basic construction tasks
- Experience with light plumbing, minor electrical, appliance or small machinery troubleshooting and repair
- Strong general labor background (framing, drywall, painting, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
- Comfortable working across multiple sites and adapting to different tasks

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
