Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth at our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the automotive industry, and a proven track record in sales management. The Automotive Sales Manager will play a key role in building relationships with clients through high-end and B2B sales, while supporting the dealership’s marketing efforts and sales support initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the automotive sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the sales pipeline and increase dealership revenue
- Conduct outside sales activities, including B2B sales and networking within the community
- Negotiate deals effectively with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
- Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership profitability
- Maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills
- Oversee all aspects of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals
- Support marketing initiatives aimed at increasing dealership visibility and attracting new customers
- Manage sales support activities, including training staff on product knowledge and phone etiquette
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in automotive or retail sales management with a focus on high-end or B2B sales
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing a robust sales pipeline
- Ability to lead a team through effective sales management techniques
