We are looking for a full-time, temporary Order Picker for July & August at our Saanichton warehouse.
While this position is temporary, the right fit may be offered a longer term of employment.
Our order pickers lead the charge when it comes to filling our customer orders. Pickers print, pick, and pack customer orders as they arrive and ensure that all orders are accurate and fully filled before being sent out for delivery. While this is an entry-level position, it is physically demanding, requires clear communication, attention to fine detail, and teamwork to get the job done.

Who you are:
- You have your driver's license and a vehicle or can reliably travel to and from our Saanichton location
- You have good physical strength and stamina; can lift 50lbs; can climb ladders
- You can work under pressure with good time management to fill on a tight deadline
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic; you are punctual and dependable
- “Teamwork makes the Dream Work” is your personal motto, but you can work independently when necessary
- You have a good sense of direction and excellent memory recall
- You look out for the safety of yourself and your Team Members
- Office supplies make you a little giddy, Back-To-School is your favourite season
Bonus Skills:
- Experience working in a large retail/warehouse/delivery environment
- Possession of a Forklift license would be an asset
Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Printing, sorting and picking of all pick tickets
- Ensuring that shelves and common work areas are kept clean of garbage, neat and organized
- Report all inventory discrepancies to the Inventory Coordinator
- Organize orders and wraps skids in preparation for deliveries
- Work with the Team to make sure all picking deadlines are met
- Occasional overtime may be required
