CosyCloset is looking for a Cabinet Maker / Shop Technician to support our cabinet production in North Vancouver.
We design and manufacture custom closets, kitchen cabinets, vanities, and built-ins. This role is focused on shop work, including cabinet assembly, material preparation, and operating woodworking equipment.
We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a cabinet shop environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble cabinet boxes and components
- Read and follow shop drawings and cut lists
- Operate woodworking machines (saw, CNC, edge bander – if experienced)
- Prepare materials and parts for installation
- Ensure accuracy and quality of finished components
- Assist with loading and handling materials
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Work efficiently to meet production timelines
Requirements:
- Experience in cabinet making, woodworking, or millwork
- Ability to read basic shop drawings
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to lift and move materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Experience with CNC machines or edge bander
- Experience with cabinet assembly and production workflow
- Familiarity with Mozaik or similar software
Pay is based on experience, skill level, and productivity. Higher pay available for experienced cabinet makers.
Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
