Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver or furniture delivery helper with or without a truck to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers while providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 5 ton to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as lift gate, four wheelers, or two wheelers
-Deliver & assemble furniture goods into customer's homes while being professional, mindful, & respective of homes/ existing goods
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or questions
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or damages
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction with each delivery
Qualifications:
- Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
-Air brake endorsement
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods
- Excellent customer service skills
