Job Summary
Spectralab Scientific Inc. is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Business Development to lead our company's growth initiatives, expand market presence, and build strategic partnerships. This executive role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing high-impact sales strategies, and driving revenue growth across multiple regions and industry segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s global business development strategy.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities across pharmaceutical, environmental, food, cannabis, academic, and industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with manufacturers, distributors, and key clients.
- Lead and mentor the business development and sales teams to achieve revenue targets.
- Expand international market presence and strengthen global distribution channels.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to align customer needs with service offerings.
- Drive strategic initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer demands.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and executive-level meetings.
- Develop forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics for growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales leadership.
- Executive-level experience in analytical instrumentation, laboratory equipment, or related industries preferred.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Strong global network within laboratory, pharmaceutical, environmental, or scientific sectors.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.
- Experience managing international teams and channel partners.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
