We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, maintain, and service hydraulic systems on cranes, Moffett forklifts, truck-mounted equipment, and other hydraulic machinery. The successful candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems in both shop and field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic system failures on cranes, Moffett forklifts, truck-mounted equipment, and related machinery.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, fittings, and control systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service inspections.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, and service documentation.
- Test hydraulic systems for pressure, flow, and performance issues.
- Repair and install hydraulic hoses, fittings, and components.
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic control systems related to hydraulic equipment.
- Complete equipment inspections and maintain accurate service records.
- Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications Required
- Experience repairing and maintaining hydraulic equipment, cranes, forklifts, or heavy machinery.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and components.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues.
- Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with truck-mounted cranes, boom trucks, knuckle booms, and Moffett forklifts.
- Heavy equipment technician certification or equivalent trade experience.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Mobile service and field repair experience.
- Knowledge of load-handling equipment and lifting devices.

Work Schedule
- Full-time, permanent position.
- 4 day work week, 10 hour shifts, with 3 day weekends.
Pay: $25.54-$46.04 per hour
