Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated HVAC Helper to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in HVAC installs. The HVAC Helper will assist senior technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance tasks across various residential projects. Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation units
- Support plumbing and piping work related to HVAC systems
- Help with welding and fabrication tasks as needed for system assembly or repairs
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to assist in system setup and troubleshooting
- Perform basic mechanical tasks such as tightening fittings, replacing filters, and cleaning components
- Aid in appliance repair and general construction activities related to HVAC projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in HVAC, brazing, or mechanical systems is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, schematics, or appliance repair is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is a plus for understanding system components and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
- Strong willingness to learn new skills within the HVAC and construction fields
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
