Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to develop and expand our customer base. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building strong customer relationships. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, promoting our rental equipment and services, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Conduct Sales Presentations: Effectively present our rental equipment and services to clients, highlighting their benefits and value.
- Prepare and Deliver Quotes: Accurately assess customer needs and prepare competitive quotes.
- Negotiate and Close Deals: Secure new business by negotiating terms and closing sales.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Track sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations and other departments to ensure smooth customer experiences.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the rental equipment, construction, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Knowledge of the Sherwood Park and surrounding areas is an asset.
- A strong mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.
