Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Autobody Prepper and Autobody Detailer to join our automotive repair team. This role is essential in preparing vehicles for repairs and ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and appearance. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with various tools and automotive systems. Duties
- Prepare vehicles for autobody repairs by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
- Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to remove dents, scratches, and imperfections
- Detail vehicles after repairs, including cleaning, polishing, and applying protective coatings
- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and communicate findings to the repair team
- Follow dealership or shop procedures to ensure quality standards are met during prep and detailing processes
- General help - garbage, light cleaning of front office and in the shop
Experience
- Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other automotive repair equipment
- Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with vehicle prep and detailing
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
