We are seeking a skilled and experienced TIG Welder ( LMIA Supported) to join our team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on stainless steel and nickel alloy piping spools, ensuring all work meets industry standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
This position is LMIA supported and offers an excellent opportunity for qualified welders with strong experience in GTAW and pipe welding.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding of various stainless steel and nickel alloy piping spools according to approved NVPS welding procedures.
- Execute high-quality welds while maintaining compliance with ASME Codes and industry standards.
- Inspect completed welds to identify defects and ensure all work meets required specifications.
- Read and interpret welding procedures, technical drawings, and blueprints.
- Provide input on process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Adapt quickly between different projects and welding requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience welding stainless steel and nickel alloy pipe.
- Mandatory GTAW (TIG) welding experience.
- Proficiency in SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW welding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures.
- Strong knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work day or afternoon shifts.
