Duties
- Must be very familiar with Ontario Curriculum in English,History, Phylosophy.
- Possessing very good patient for yonge students
- Having strong communication skills with parents
- Develop and deliver tailored English language lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
- Incorporate multiple teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Assist students in improving reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English
- Support students in developing confidence and fluency in English through interactive activities
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Prepare educational materials and resources for effective tutoring sessions
- Work with children to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and student performance
Experience
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching English, especially in classroom settings
- Proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin, French, Spanish, or Japanese is a plus
- Strong writing skills and the ability to create engaging lesson plans
- Experience working with children is highly desirable
- Familiarity with diverse cultural backgrounds and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Passion for education and helping students succeed in language acquisition
