With the flexibility to work from home, a coffee shop, from the top of a mountain or at our Head Office based in Vancouver BC, the Sales Professional is responsible for expanding relationships with existing customers, fostering trust with partners, and executing promotional plans within budget. You'll strategically negotiate to achieve mutual business objectives, stay informed on market dynamics, and contribute to overall sales growth.
Let’s get into the detail. This role will:

Expand relationships with existing customers.

Develop and maintain trust with retailers, distributor and vendor partners
-
Coordinate promotional plans to customer's specifications to further grow/enhance the relationship while keeping within budget requirements

Plan and execute product training
-
Stay up to date with the customer strategy / operating cycles
-
Effectively negotiate with customers to achieve mutual business objectives
-
Maintain a regular call cycle with head offices and store visits
-
Use strong communication skills to provide accurate and detailed information to key stakeholders, both internally and externally

Develop strong brand and product knowledge
-
Maintain competitive and industry knowledge base of product and service offerings and provide strategic recommendations

Attend customer events, industry events, trade shows, etc.

Bring new opportunities/leads to the attention of management
-
Monitor and communicate customer business plan results
-
Responsible for reporting and any other administrative duties as required

Stay within the assigned budget for all customer and vendor budgets as well as business travel and expenses

Work on special projects and other duties/responsibilities as assigned
-
Merchandising, taking inventory, sampling and taking orders.

Weekly 1:1 meetings with manager
-
Quarter review meetings with key accounts
-
Monitor and assess monthly sales by account, by product and strategize on how to increase sales

Other duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Minimum 2 years B2B/outside sales experience, selling to Health accounts.

Post-secondary education is preferred.

Ability to drive sales with great results and invent new ways to grow business within the territory.

Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and the ability to interpret and analyze sales reports.

Fast thinking, adaptable, with a strong and vivid imagination and outside the box thinking

A result-oriented individual with a proven track record of sales success

Great communication skills, smart thinking and hungry for success

Ability to interpret information and provide consultation and expert advice to customers and management.

Effective negotiation and business planning skills.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
