Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori teaching assistant to join our educational team for our toddler class. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in toddler and early childhood education and experience working with children in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate has an Infant & Toddler Montessori assistant certification, or is willing to obtain one via a 20 hour virtual course. This role is full-time.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Assist the classroom's team with cleaning, serving food, child hygiene, and teaching Montessori lessons.
Experience
- Proven experience teaching children in a classroom setting.
- An Infant & Toddler Montessori assistant certification, or willing to obtain one.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Experience with tutoring or providing additional support to students as needed.
