Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and ensure manufacturing operations meet industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop manufacturing processes using CAD tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity and cost reductions.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on assembly line design, mechanical knowledge application, and system optimization.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process issues and implement corrective actions to improve quality and throughput.
- Support new product developement by providing engineering expertise in manufacturing feasibility, tooling, and process validation.
- Document process flows, schematics, and technical specifications for manufacturing operations.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for designing manufacturing components and systems.
- Mechanical engineering background with expertise in industrial equipment, welding, assembly, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and process optimization techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CAD models accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality enhancement and efficiency gains.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across engineering teams and production staff.
Pay: $82,500.00-$85,000.00 per year
