K Plowman Contracting is looking for a skilled Class 3 Truck Driver with extensive experience in hauling gravel and aggregates. Industry experience with emphasis on safe driving, effective communication, and knowledge of routes. Vehicle inspections and maintenance checks are required daily, and mechanical experience is an asset.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
· Deliver materials safely to various locations ensuring safety at all times
· Proficiently operate and follow set routes and maintain schedules as required
· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, accurately completing all delivery and material logs
· Maintain a clean and organized workplace (Truck and cab) ensuring any mechanical issues are reported immediately
· Ensure loads are secure, properly distributed and compliant with all Alberta transportation and weight regulations
Qualifications:
· Candidate have Class 1 or 3 driver’s license
· Experience hauling aggregates is preferred
· Maintain a clean commercial drivers abstract
· Attention to detail with safety practices

· Candidate must be able to work independently when required
· Strong communication, planning and organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
· Excellent time management skills
· Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
· Display a high level of initiative and commitment to success
· Must be physically able to perform all duties
