Construction Installer / Service Technician
Med-Tech is seeking a confident, professional, and motivated individual to join our installation team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in construction and be comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools. This is a physically demanding position that requires strong upper body strength, as much of the work involves operating heavy-duty drills and saws while working from ladders.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain patient lift systems in hospitals, retirement homes, long-term care facilities, and private residences.
- Install ceiling-mounted track systems and electric patient lift motors.
- Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on existing lift equipment.
- Work safely and professionally while representing Med-Tech at client sites.
- Travel to customer locations throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction or a related trade.
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
- Comfortable working on ladders and in physically demanding environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan, including overnight travel as required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
