Trigrand Inc. was created to service the construction and restoration industry with superior quality, workmanship and customer service. We are focused on the Building Restoration industry and are capable of providing a wide range of exterior building envelope repair services. We have worked with hundreds of clients for residential buildings in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Procurement Officer will support construction, renovation, and restoration operations across the Greater Toronto Area by sourcing and purchasing construction materials, equipment, supplies, and business services required for ongoing projects. The role includes obtaining and reviewing supplier quotations, coordinating delivery schedules, negotiating pricing and purchasing terms, and maintaining relationships with vendors and service providers. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, dependable communication, and the ability to work effectively with project managers, site supervisors, suppliers, and other team members to support efficient project operations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Purchase construction materials, restoration supplies, equipment and business services
- Obtain and review quotations from suppliers and service providers
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and contract terms with suppliers
- Assess project material requirements and coordinate timely delivery to job sites
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential suppliers
- Research new suppliers and sourcing options to improve cost and supply reliability
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules and supplier performance
- Work with project managers and site supervisors to resolve procurement or delivery issues
- Prepare procurement records, reports and recommendations for management
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience in the position
· Education: Completion of a post-secondary diploma program
· Language: Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
