Cousin Vinny's Restaurant & Bar is a high volume Italian Restaurant located in the Hanmer Valley Shopping Center. Our current Kitchen Manager will be leaving in the future. We are looking for a new Kitchen Manager that is passionate to cook as well as to be a leader. Your main responsibility would be to manage a staff of approximately 15 in the back of the house however you will also need to be a very strong line cook.
This may be an opportunity to own your business. In order to apply for this position, you must have 10 years experience in a reputable restaurant and managerial experience with be an asset. Full time 44 hour work week with two days off. Must be quick and have the ability to be vocal in a kitchen)
Manager Job Duties: -Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required -Follow recipes and presentation specifications -Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently -Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation -Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
