We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Senior Human Resources Generalist to support leaders and employees across a broad range of human resources functions. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution and is passionate about creating positive employee experiences while supporting business objectives.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Senior Human Resources Generalist will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, recruitment, workplace investigations, disability management, leaves of absence, and HR programs.
What You'll Do:
Employee Relations & HR Advisory
- Partner with leaders to provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
- Support managers in addressing workplace concerns through coaching, consultation, and practical HR solutions.
- Build strong relationships with employees and leaders by providing timely and accurate HR support.
Performance Management
- Lead and support performance management processes within assigned client groups.
- Coach leaders on performance improvement plans, documentation, and employee development strategies.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for professional and operational roles.
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a positive new hire experience.
Workplace Investigations & Compliance
- Conduct workplace investigations involving harassment, workplace violence, and other employee concerns.
- Maintain current knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and emerging workplace trends.
Disability Management & Leave Administration
- Coordinate workplace accommodation and return-to-work programs.
- Manage WSIB claims, modified work programs, and disability case administration.
- Administer employee leaves, including maternity/parental leave, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other legislated leaves.
HR Programs & Projects
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR programs and initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives.
- Assist with HR reporting, metrics, and data analysis.
Work Environment & Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel regularly between the company's Woodbridge and Mississauga facilities to support business operations and client groups.
- Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation are required.
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- CHRP or CHRL designation (or working toward designation).
- Experience in a logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or operational environment is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, HR best practices, and workplace compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and workplace investigations.
- Experience managing disability claims, accommodations, and return-to-work programs.

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
