Position Details
- Full-time Owner Operator opportunity
- Long-haul van freight (cross-border and domestic)
- Consistent mileage based on availability and routing
- Strong dispatch support and planning assistance
Requirements
We are looking for experienced, professional Owner Operators who meet the following:
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license
- Valid FAST card (required for cross-border)
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Clean Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse record
- Own tractor (5 years or newer preferred) in safe, roadworthy condition
- Strong knowledge of Hours of Service (HOS) and ELD compliance
- Ability to accurately maintain electronic logs and trip documentation
- Available for consistent long-haul dispatch
- Ability to safely assist with loading/unloading when required
- Physically able to handle occasional freight handling (up to ~50 lbs when necessary)
- Professional communication and strong customer service mindset
- Strong trip planning and defensive driving skills
- Commitment to maintaining clean, well-presented equipment
Responsibilities
- Safe, compliant, and timely transport of freight across provincial and state lines
- Full compliance with all FMCSA, DOT, and provincial regulations
- Proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections with defect reporting
- Safe load securement and protection of freight integrity
- Accurate ELD use and timely trip documentation
- Participation in monthly preventive maintenance reporting
- Maintaining equipment in safe, clean, and roadworthy condition
- Clear and timely communication with dispatch and operations
Pay: $140,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
