Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to perform diagnostic and repair procedures
- Support the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for automotive service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to dealership standards during all operations
- Learn to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams related to vehicle systems
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients when necessary
Requirements
- Dealership experience or background in automotive repair is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong interest in automotive maintenance, repair, and mechanic work
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn new skills
- Prior experience with welding or assembly is a plus but not required
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to safety guidelines
Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
