Paul Davis is looking for a Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team.
At Paul Davis, we help property owners rebuild their lives after traumatic events such as fire or water damage. As the Bookkeeper, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations while contributing to a company that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others.
The Bookkeeper works closely with our project management team to provide support in managing project and financial records, processing invoices, and tracking payments. You’ll be responsible for maintaining up-to-date financial records, ensuring accuracy in all transactions, and helping track and meet key financial performance metrics. Experience in accounting is essential with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date project/financial records in our electronic systems including:
o Processing vendor invoices and payments
o Time sheet entry
o Generation of customer invoices and applying cash receipts
o Reconciliation of the bank statements
· Support the team with monthly reconciliations and financial reporting.
· Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
· Track and monitor key financial performance indicators.
· Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
· Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
Required Qualifications:
· Accounting experience is required.
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Team-oriented and dependable.
