Duties
- Measure clients accurately to determine tailoring needs and ensure proper fit
- Alter, repair, and customize garments according to specifications
- Operate sewing machines and other tailoring equipment safely and efficiently
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally
- Keep detailed records of alterations and customer preferences for future reference
Skills
- Basic math skills for taking measurements and calculating adjustments
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise alterations and high-quality finishes
