Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance of corporate records, annual maintenance, and minute books.
- Draft resolutions, incorporate and dissolve companies, and complete extra-provincial filings.
- Assist with corporate transactions such as incorporations, registrations, continuations, dissolutions, and reorganizations.
- Coordinate with lawyers, clients, and external advisors to gather and verify information.
- Track and manage filing deadlines and document submissions.
- Ensure records are accurate, organized, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Minimum requirements:
- 3+ years of corporate paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
- Completion of an accredited Paralegal program or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong understanding of corporate procedures, annual maintenance, and records management.
- Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail.
- Reliable, responsible, and proactive with a team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in estate planning and administration (if applicable).
Compensation: The expected salary range for this role is $80,000-110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
