Guru Shardha Welfare Charity is seeking a motivated and community-minded Community Outreach Volunteer to support our outreach initiatives and help connect individuals and families with our programs, services, and community resources.
The volunteer will assist with community engagement, outreach activities, awareness campaigns, events, and communication with community members and organizations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to contribute to meaningful community-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with community outreach programs and activities.
- Engage with community members and share information about available programs and services.
- Support community events, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
- Help distribute promotional and informational materials.
- Assist with volunteer recruitment and community engagement activities.
- Build positive relationships with community members and local organizations.
- Provide feedback on community needs and outreach activities.
- Support social media and other awareness initiatives when required.
- Maintain respectful, professional, and confidential communication.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, respectful, and approachable personality.
- Interest in community service and nonprofit organizations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Previous volunteer or community outreach experience is an asset but not required.
