Job Summary
No Vacancy is hiring a Chef de Partie to join a detail-focused kitchen centered on contemporary Korean cuisine with Italian influence, seasonal ingredients, and refined execution. This role is ideal for a motivated cook looking to grow in a professional, fast-paced kitchen with high standards for consistency, cleanliness, and organization. The CDP will maintain their station, execute prep and service efficiently, and contribute to a disciplined, team-oriented kitchen culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain an assigned station during prep and service
- Execute dishes consistently according to recipes, systems, and plating standards
- Complete daily prep lists efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, labeling, storage, and food safety standards
- Communicate shortages, prep needs, and service issues clearly
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and kitchen closing duties
- Support teammates during busy service periods
- Maintain, professionalism, and attention to detail throughout service
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of experience in a line cook or Chef de Partie role
- Fine dining or detail-oriented restaurant experience preferred
- Strong knife skills and solid cooking fundamentals
- Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and consistently under pressure
- Strong work ethic, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to receive feedback, improve quickly, and work as part of a team
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and accountability
Preferred Experience
- Experience in tasting menu or highly detailed kitchens
- Interest in modern Korean cuisine, fermentation, pasta, or charcoal cooking
- Familiarity with Rational ovens, Thermomix, or modern kitchen equipment
- Strong understanding of mise en place and station organization
