Velofix Fraser Valley operates 2 mobile vans based in Surrey, we cover Tsawwassen to Chilliwack and New Westminster to Mission. I am looking to hire a fully trained and experienced bike mechanic who can independently operate a full time van. There is an option to split the territory east/west so I am considering a candidate based in the Maple Ridge, Abbotsford, Mission area.
At velofix, the Rider Support Technician is so much more than a bike mechanic. We see this role as the face of our brand, someone who is constantly encouraging people to ride more, and the person making sure our company is presented at its best every day.
The daily task list of a Rider Support Technician can be very broad. You would be responsible for managing the entire customer experience with our Mobile Bike Shop, visiting riders at their home or work, servicing their bike, maintaining a tight schedule, building new bikes, installing accessories, restocking parts, running a POS, taking payments, janitorial duties, attending events, and doing your best to answer every question our riders might have.
We offer a unique take on schedules, pay structures and advancement with possibilities for regular 8 hour days or a compressed full time schedule over 4 days. Full time, hourly, commission or salary, plus tips. $20-25 for a mechanic with 1-5 years experience and up to $30 for a seasoned mechanic.
