Prepare Notice to Reader financial statements and corporate and personal tax returns

Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts receivable and payable

Process payroll and complete WCB, GST, and T4 filings

Maintain accurate accounting records and support year-end processes

Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and other financial documentation

Reconcile and verify transactions, including payables, receivables, payroll, and bank statements

Assist with budgeting and cost analysis using historical and projected data

Coordinate with contractors on client accounts, including setup, invoice tracking, and payment processing

Respond to client inquiries and follow up on outstanding payments while maintaining strong relationships

Support CPAs with file preparation, review bookkeeping work, and contribute to team deliverables

Maintain organized records and provide general administrative support

Participate in team meetings, mentorship, and ongoing professional development

Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Detail-oriented, methodical, and highly reliable

Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach

Experience with Caseware, Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, Taxprep, and Microsoft Office

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes

Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero)

Strong background in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial reporting

Experience with accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes

Knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements

Experience in a public practice or professional services environment is considered an asset
